Where to Keep Large Yard Equipment

With the arrival of the warm weather, many people will be outside doing lawn and garden chores that were put off during the winter months. In many cases there are projects that require over sized tools or equipment. Whatever tool is used, you need a place to store it.

A large tractor mower, tiller, lawn spreader, even barbecue grills-- all need to be kept in a dry, organized place. You want to keep these bulky items out of your garage yet in a place with easy access when you need it. A backyard steel storage shed is the answer. A shed keeps your large equipment and tools handy. Choose from a wide selection that includes tall interior height, large door openings and sliding or swing open doors. All these features should be considered when you need a place for your stuff.

Face it, you don't want or need a cluttered garage or basement. In some cases you may not even have one of them and find yourself with a real space problem. A build-it-yourself steel shed is a great value that gives your commonly used tools and equipment a home. Bases, frame kits  and anchoring options are available to protect your shed from the elements and what's inside as well. Helpful Hints When Assembling an Arrow Shed

Did you ever look at an Arrow shed & wonder how do you get a full-sized storage building from that 1 box? Well, the folks at Arrow have been doing this for nearly 50 years! An Arrow building is a low cost storage solution and allows you to organize and have easy access to yard tools, patio equipment, seasonal sports gear and so much more.  You can see the full line of Arrow buildings at www.arrowsheds.com
There are some tips that will make your assembly process faster and smoother.  These include:

Ø  Make sure the day you assemble the building is dry and calm. Do not start assembly if rain is in the forecast.
Ø  A minimum of two people should assemble the building. If you have a larger shed, a third person would be helpful. The more people the better.
Ø  Prior to purchase, check local building codes. Some towns have restrictions on the type and size of storage building that can be built. Check for permit requirements.
Ø  As always, thoroughly read the instruction manual. The step by step process will also list the tools required for assembly.
Ø  It is extremely important that your site is square and level. This will ensure that panels will line up and provide for proper installation.
Ø  The Arrow web site www.arrowsheds.com contains an animated video of how a basic  gable building goes together. Use it to get a general idea  of how it will apply to your Arrow building
Ø  You need to decide what will be your base. Arrow has floor frame kit and base kit accessories to help keep your stored items off the ground. The wood required is separately purchased. In addition,  you may decide to have used a concrete base instead of a wood. Base instructions are detailed in each Arrow instruction manual.
Ø  After your building is complete, it must be anchored to protect against strong winds. Arrow has ground and concrete anchor kits available.  They are easy to install and depending on your base, will provide long-term protection for your Arrow shed.
Ø  It’s a good idea to keep the shed’s roof and door tracks clear of debris and heavy snow.  This will keep the roof strong and assure smooth sliding of the doors
Following these guidelines will help you keep your Arrow storage building attractive and in great shape for use year after year.

Why Buy A Steel Shed

There are many choices when it comes to buying a backyard storage building. Steel, wood and resin provide consumers with a variety of materials to keep their tool and patio equipment in an organized space. In these tough economic times, a steel storage building from Arrow Storage Products is a smart choice. Arrow buildings come in a wide selection of sizes and shapes. There’s a storage building for almost any need.

Steelbuildings are a complete kit. Unlike wood, there’s no cutting or sawing needed. You won’t have to paint or shingle the roof of a steel building. Arrow building parts are pre-cut, pre-drilled and numbered for faster DIY assembly. Steel buildings won’t  invite insects that can eat away at a wood shed’s material. Wood and resin sheds are expensive! In fact, on a pure cubic foot comparison, a steel storage building is your lowest cost storage solution. Resin sheds have their issues as well  when compared to steel. Resin by nature may turn brittle in extreme cold and soft in extreme heat. Door hinges may also weaken under climate extremes. Many resin or plastic buildings are not full-sized. Plastic sheds calling themselves  buildings may actually be an outdoor closet.

Steel buildings by Arrow offer full-sized storage solutions . Many buildings have large , tall door openings for easier access and greater headroom inside for a larger work area and storage space. Arrow also offers a premium vinyl coated line of buildings. These sheds panels are vinyl coated steel. This allows for a more durable and rigid paint finish that  has greater resistance to fading and scratching.  Vinyl coated buildings come with a 15 year limited warranty and is a great choice for a long-lasting storage solution.

How many times have you said?

How many times have you said, "holy crap I really need to clean up my garage".  We have so much stuff piled into our garages these days that we can't get to what we need without moving or stepping on something. With the economy at a snails pace we are keeping more and more stuff. Plus it seems we are ll crazy busy and never get around to actually going through and organizing our stuff.

So what I suggest to all of us that have muttered the words "holy crap I need to clean up my garage" is to take the time to actually do that and clean up your garage.  Once you get started, where are you going to put all that extra stuff. Maybe a storage unit, but then that means you have to pack up the car and get it over there. When you need something you have to jump in the car drive over there and haul whatever it is you need back to your house. Plus don't forget that monthly bill for rent.  How about a durable low cost solution to hits into almost any space?

Arrow Sheds offer everyone more storage square footage with a cost effective price. With over 70 different models Arrow has a solution for all your storage needs.  A durable, good looking low cost shed that anyone can install into their back yard.  Plus its made in the USA!

Now you have no excuse,  go out and move all your stuff from your garage to that new steel storage shed
